What I’m reading

ALEX LOVELL MAKES PEOPLE DISAPPEAR.

TURNS OUT, SHE’S NOT THE ONLY ONE.

Private investigator Alexandra Lovell uses computer skills and cunning to help clients drop off the radar and begin new lives in safety. Melanie Bess, desperate to escape her abusive cop husband, was one of those clients. But when Melanie vanishes for real, Alex fears the worst, and sets out to discover what happened. Using every resource she can get her hands on — including an elite team of forensic scientists known as the Tracers, and a jaded, sexy Austin PD detective — Alex embarks on a mission to uncover the truth.

As far as homicide cop Nathan Deveraux is concerned, no body means no case. But as much as he wants to believe that Alex’s hunch about Melanie’s murder is wrong, his instincts — and their visceral attraction — won’t let him walk away. As a grim picture of what really happened begins to emerge, Nathan realizes this investigation runs deeper than they could ever have guessed. And each step nearer the truth puts Alex in danger of being the next to disappear….

About the second book:

ELAINA MCCORD WANTS TO FIND A KILLER. BUT HE’S ALREADY FOUND HER.

Elaina McCord’s dream of being an FBI profiler is threatened by her very first case—investigating a string of murders near a Texas beach resort. The victims, all young women, were drugged and brutally murdered, their bodies abandoned in desolate marshland. Elaina’s hunch—met with disbelief by local police—is that these are only the latest offerings from a serial killer who has been perfecting his art for years, growing bolder and more cunning with each strike.

True-crime writer Troy Stockton has a reputation as an irresistible playboy who gets his story at any cost. He’s the last person Elaina should trust, let alone be attracted to. But right now Troy, along with the elite team of forensics experts known as the Tracers, is her only ally in a case that’s turning dangerously personal. A killer is reaching out to Elaina, taunting her, letting her know how ruthless he is and how close he’s getting. Now it’s not just her career that’s in jeopardy—it’s her life. . . .

About the third book:

TRACING KILLERS IS MIA VOSS’S BUSINESS. AND HER WORK JUST GOT PERSONAL.

At first, Mia Voss thinks it’s just bad luck when her already lousy day ends with a carjacking, but what seems like a random incident is followed by another sinister episode. A DNA expert, Mia has made it her mission to put away vicious criminals. Suddenly, she’s become the target of one. And the only way to protect the people she loves most is to deliberately destroy her reputation and risk letting a killer walk free.

Once, Mia trusted Detective Ric Santos, but that was before Ric let his turbulent past ruin his chances with Mia, the sexiest, most intriguing woman he’s ever met. But he can tell when she’s lying—and when she’s scared. The key to catching a sadistic madman lies within a long-buried cold case that has haunted Mia for years. Only she can uncover the truth, but first, Ric will have to get her to entrust him with her secrets . . . and her life.

It’s Finally here!!!

I love the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich. I buy them usually within the first week they came out and I own them all. So when I found out they were making One for the Money into a movie I was so excited!! I never got a chance to see it in theaters so when it came out on DVD this morning I ran to redbox and I picked it up.

I’ve already watched it once today and I love it (I may also be watching it again right now lol). Granted they are missing things from the books but what movie that’s based on a book isn’t. Now that I’ve seen the movie I think the cast is great!

Updates….

So I’ve been extremely busy with School & Work. I don’t know why I keep thinking I can do full time school & work. Oh wait I do, it’s because I work in a call center. I need to rethink that strategy, it’s not working the greatest.

I’ve been playing alot of the Sims 4 lately. I really am addicted, the only problem is that it likes to keep crashing on me. Which is really sucky. I considered just going through and uninstalling it all and buying the used copies of what I want off Amazon. That’s what I’ll be getting next paycheck (hopefully, since I have to pay school $322 for tuition again in the beginning of Oct)

I’M SUPER EXCITED!!!! The new Blue Bloods Book, The Van Alen Legacy, I’m finally getting around to reading it.

Love Today….

NEW BOOKS!!!!….

Ok so I really have to stop going to Barnes & Noble. When they know who I am by name when I walk in the store I think I’m spending WAY too much time in there! But I LOVE it!!! This Week I got 2 new books (hardcover mind you, so not cheap)….I got Sophie Kinsella‘s new book Twenties Girl….Which is AWESOME!!!! and I also got Lauren Conrad‘s Book (The girl from The Hills, in case you’ve been living under a rock ) L.A. Candy. I must say I do love my job as it allows me to read and be paid for it!

Today I finished Twenties Girl and I love it! I had a very hard time putting it down! Whenever someone would call I didn’t want to talk to them (mind you sometimes I just don’t want to talk to any of the customers that call in sometimes) I just wanted to keep on reading.

I haven’t started Reading L.A. Candy yet but as soon…because I don’t have the ambition to do homework right now….I do have to get some of it done though…can’t afford to keep dropping and not completing classes.
